Ugly Rumours feat. "Tony Blair"

War! (what is it good for?)

Message from Michael Turnbull, the producer: We need your help to embarrass Tony Blair and show this Government the wealth of support against their actions on a range of issues including Trident and Iraq . The Prime Minister, in association with Stop The War Coalition has "reformed" his old university band called Ugly Rumours and has recorded a pro peace song "War (what is it good for?)" which is released in the UK on 26th February..
  • To have a top 20 hit in the UK you now only need to make approximately 5000 sales. From now until the 25th of February you, your contacts and friends can pre-order the track just by texting the word "PEACE1" to 78789 (UK only) The track only costs £1.50 and all the profits go to StWC (You will immediately then be sent a text with the instructions on how to download the track when it is released on the 26th)

  • Please do this NOW! We need firstly for you to buy the track and secondly to send this email with the video out to all your contacts and/or put it up on your web site (the embed code can be found to the right of video at the youtube site)
For too long the media have ignored the strength of feeling against this illegal war, if Tony is in the charts and heading to number one on the 19th of March, (the 4th year anniversary of the start of the war) then the media will have to report on it which will then highlight the wealth of feeling against our Governments stand on Trident and Iraq.
